Memo written to General Motors after the first GMC motorhome cross country tour

I had copies of four photos from my grandparents album for years and never gave them much attention as they were lost in a sea of other GMC photographs. When they passed away I inherited the original copies and was able to look on the back and found this (below)

It was then I realized the photos were taken on the very first GMC motorhome cross country trip. Images from testing GMC motorhome #005. My wife and I had always entertained the idea of retracing that inagural trip with our Birchaven……..now we had to go.
